Family Reading Initiative - First Grade
This month we are learning about Earth Science, Poetry, while we read fiction and non-fiction texts. Reading descriptive language . Practice at home while reading those amazing library books sent home! Use the reading logs and camping color sheet for any book read.
In phonics, UFLi words this month gives us a better understanding of using the patterns sent home for you to practice with your child with the At Home Practice sheets. See videos below for helpful times and practice.

Want books for your child's home library? You can order through Scholastic(click link) and they will ship to me for FREE.
Click here to order books for your child, and earn books for Mrs. Stachler's classroom at the same time. Order by the 25th of each month to receive by beginning of the next month.
