Reading Students will comprehend, interpret, evaluate, and respond to a variety of complex texts of all literary and informational genres from a variety of historical, cultural, ethnic, and global perspectives
Monday, November 27, 2017:
Assignment: Students will write a summary of Chapter One from ANIMAL FARM. The summary will follow specific, step-by-step sentence prompts (analogous to a recipe) as a demonstration of the essential ingredients for a well-written summary of a literary work.
Tuesday, November 28, 2017:
Assignment: Comprehension Worksheet over Chapter 2 from ANIMAL FARM. Assignment will require students to sequence events and remember details.
Wednesday, November 29, 2017:
Assignment: Group reading of Chapters 3 and 4 from ANIMAL FARM.
Thursday, November 30, 2017:
