Your ACT score is an opportunity to receive college scholarships and career guidance. In addition, a college-ready ACT score can be used as an alternative pathway to demonstrate competency for graduation.
What steps must you take before participating in this required exam? Students must pre-register for the ACT. By pre-registering, you are:
Completing the career planning component
Requesting to send your ACT scores to colleges for FREE
Gaining access to your ACT results in the MyACT portal
How do I pre-register? The ACT Pre-Registration Video below will take you through a step-by-step video to pre-register. Your ACT ID Code is located within your mailed ACT testing letter. Letters were mailed in January.
Please keep in mind you have up to 48 hours from your scheduled ACT exam to complete these steps. After this deadline, you will no longer have the ability to pre-register.
