Welcome Packet

Hello, I am Mrs. Clifford, the first grade teacher at Trinity Lutheran School! I decided to become a teacher because I love being inspired by the energy, creativity, and imagination of children. I am a graduate of Concordia University Texas, with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Go Tornadoes! Knowing God has called me to be a teacher, my goal is that every student that walks into my classroom would know and experience the love of Jesus Christ. This is my seventh year of teaching first grade at Trinity and my ninth year total of teaching experience. I love Trinity Lutheran Church and School because of the amazing sense of Ohana and the support in Christ from the administration, staff,  and school and church families that I receive daily! 

I live in Wahiawa with my husband Jason, my three year old son Boudreaux, and my one year old daughter Tove. We love living in the same community as so many of our Trinity families, and we sometimes even get to run into Crusader kids on our walks! Life is always exciting with our two kids, who love being outside and exploring. God has blessed my family abundantly! I love spending time with my family, bouldering, going to the beach, surfing, hiking, camping, playing sports, reading, painting, and watching Disney movies. I also love worshiping at Trinity Lutheran Church, where I teach Sunday School and have fellowship with other believers. 

I am looking forward to an exciting year as you and I partner together to provide valuable experiences for spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social growth for the students.  Working together as a team will make this year a success.  Please feel free to contact me at any time during the school year to discuss your child’s progress, ask questions, or share with me concerns or comments.  The best way to get in touch is by sending an email with your concerns and indicating a desire for an appointment.  I am available before and after school for such conferences. It is our mission at TLS to share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, Friend, and Teacher through worship, service, and educational excellence.  I look forward to seeing how each child grows not only academically, but as a child of God, throughout this year!
