Cycle 1: People of the World

It has been lovely to welcome the children back this week. They have all been ready to learn and modelled the Tithe Farm Way beautifully. In assembly this week, we looked at how to follow the Tithe Farm Way. Over this year, we will spend time defining what behaviours different parts of the Tithe Farm Way expect. This will then lead to explicit teaching.
This half term, we are focusing on one element of staying safe: 'Wonderful Walking.' Staff and children have spent time defining what 'Wonderful Walking' looks like and these expectations are now being taught and insisted on.
Important dates have been shared with families and have been added to the school calendar. Please keep an eye on these so that you know when there are events which families are invited to. As always, if opportunities arise to enrich learning we will add these in when we are able to.
Next week, you will receive a google form to complete should you wish your child to take part in one of our after school clubs. Please remember that all clubs are often over subscribed. We will do our best to allocate children at least one of their preferred options, however please be aware this isn't always possible. If you speak to the office once allocations have been made, there will be a waiting list which can be joined.
As a staff, we are very excited to see what the academic year 2025-26 brings and look forward to working with you and your children.
Today we held a careers day. The aim of the day was to put a context behind the reason we are in school and learning; and to give the children ideas about different careers. It has been a wonderful day which as sparked a lot of intelligent talking. Please take a look at facebook and instagram later today to see how much fun the children had.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers who joined us today and spoke to the children. We hope you enjoyed it as much as the children did!
We are hoping this will become an annual event; if you or someone you know would like to come and share your career with the children please let Mr Holloway know and he will be in touch with you when we plan the next one.
