This week we have welcomed our youngest learners to Tithe Farm. It has been lovely to see how well they are making new friends and beginning to settle into the routine of being in school. Today was the reception children's first full day, they have been incredibly busy all day so we expect that they will sleep well this evening!
Today the children all looked incredibly smart in their school uniform ready for their photos. All photos have been taken and proofs will be with you soon so that you can order them should you wish.
As the weather is becoming more autumnal, please could you ensure that your children are coming to school with a waterproof coat. Where possible we will make sure that the children have time outside so a coat is always useful.
We are continuing to embed wonderful walking around shool. During lesson time and with adult supervision, walking is wonderful and ticking all of the boxes! We will be continuing to support the moving around the school building during lunchtime, break time.
As a school we are taking part in the PINS project. To support this we are asking familise to complete the survey which can be accessed by following this link: www.surveymonkey.co/r/8P6KXDS By completing the survey you will help to shape the support which the school recieves.
The Local Authority have developed a new SEND Strategy, which outlines their plan for improving outcomes for children and young people up to 25 years old with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It builds on their previous strategy and outlines six priorities which cover how they will support children and young people with SEND from 2025 to 2028. It includes all children and young people with SEND including those with emerging needs, to those supported through SEN support, and those with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
They would like to hear your thoughts on the draft SEND strategy for 2025-2028. Please follow the link below to read the consultation information and submit your feedback by Wednesday 1 October 2025.

If you are running low on uniform, take a look in our uniform exchange which has a wide variety of pre-loved uniform looking for a new home. The uniform exchange can be found in the front reception. There is no charge for this, please take what you need.
We currently have a large stock of pre-loved uniform and are not taking any donations at present because we have run out of room to store it! We will notify families when stocks are running low and we require further donations.
If your child is due to start school in September 2026, it is time to begin to think about where you would like them to go. We will be running tours on Mondays and Fridays at 10:30 and 1:30. If you would like a tour please call the school office on 01582 865047 in order to book a place. We will limit each tour to 2 families so that there is an opportunity to ask questions which are relevant to your child.
