It was lovely to see so many families at Parents Evening this week. If you were unable to make your appointment or did not manage to book an appointment, your child's class teacher will be calling you to update you on their progress.
Key stage 2 children have enjoyed taking part in Lego Robotics workshops. These workshops are designed to support the children to learn and apply coding skills. As well as the coding skills, the children had to work in small groups and so this helped them to continue to develop their team work (Bertie the Bee).
Today the school has been flooded with yellow as we show our support for World Mental Health day. Miss Oughton lead assemblies for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 about the importance of looking after your mental health. During the day each class has been outside for a walk and talk where they have been able to have some fresh air and also chat with their friends about anything they want to. Remember that should you require support for your child's mental health, Mrs Molloy would be more than happy to signpost you to support services.

Establishing a good morning routine will help you to ensure that your children are in school on time. If you find that time slips away from you in the morning, try preparing school bags the night before.
Arriving at school on time is an important part of allowing a child to feel settled for the day ahead. Arriving after peers and walking into an already settled classroom, is often embarrassing and means that they are unsure about what they should be doing.
Raffle Tickets are on given on Monday and Friday (and on other days of the week) to children who are in school on time. There will be a raffle draw at Christmas where there will be prizes for those tickets drawn. The more tickets your child has, the more likely they are to win a prize!
Next Wednesday is Year 2's Learn Together event. If your child is in Year 2, please come to the main office for 2:45pm. Activities will be set up in the dining hall for you to complete with your child.
Sapphire Class Assembly is on Thursday. It will begin at 10:15am. Assemblies are usually about 15 minutes so please be on time otherwise you will miss the performance.
Keep an eye open for more Friends of Tithe Farm Events. There will be an Autumn Disco and Christmas Fair this term.
If you are able to support FOTF by offering time at different events, I know they would be most grateful. If you let the office know (office@tithefarmprimary.co.uk) they will be able to pass this on to the Chair.
Following some excellent fund raising last academic year, the FOTF are paying for this year's panto for all of the children in school!
