It has been a very festive week at Tithe Farm. One of the highlights for me was watching the Reception Nativity. The children performed beautifully, speaking clearly and singing with such enthusiasm! For our reception families, we did film the performance and it will be uploaded to tapestry so you can watch it if you missed it.
All term the children have been working hard to follow the Tithe Farm Way and collect house points. School council discussed with the children what they would like the reward to be for the winning house - they decided on a film afternoon. Congratulations to Puddlehill who were our winning house this term. They chose to watch 'The Grinch'. House points will be collected again next term with a reward for the winning house just before Easter. In order to collect house points the children need to follow the Tithe Farm Way.
On behalf of all the adults at school, we would like to thank families for you kind gifts and support over the last half term. We wish you a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year!
Today we have said goodbye to Miss Kambli and Miss Curtis. We thank them for all that they have done to support Tithe Farm and wish them all the best in the future endeavors.
In January we will be welcoming Mrs Hussain as the class teacher for Turquoise class. She is excited to be joining our team and has visited school several times over the last couple of weeks which means she is already becoming familiar with the Tithe Farm Way!
Whole School attendance to date: 94%
Today we celebrated those children who have managed to be in school every day this term. This is an amazing achievement, especially during the Autumn Term when there are bugs going round!
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone on Tuesday 7th January at 8:35am. Raffle tickets will be available on the first day for those children who are in school and on time.
Most pharmacies in England are now providing the NHS Pharmacy First service which allows pharmacists to provide advice and where appropriate, supply NHS medicines for the following conditions:
Earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
Impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
Infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
Shingles (aged 18 years and over)
Sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
Sore throats (aged 5 years and over)
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women (aged 16 to 64 years)
If you have symptoms that suggest you may have one of these conditions, you can walk into a pharmacy and be offered a consultation with a pharmacist in a private consultation room. Your GP surgery may also refer you to the service if you contact them but they believe it is appropriate for you to be seen by a pharmacist.
If you have symptoms that suggest you have one of the above conditions, why not give the Pharmacy First service a try?

Merry Christmas from our Safety Squad!
The Safety Squad have been a fantastic addition to our pupil leadership team. They have worked alongside Mrs Molloy to support our learners to be safe in school. The ideas they have put into action and the way they prioritise safety makes them excellent role models to the whole school.
They enjoyed a Christmas celebration with Mrs Molloy earlier this week to say thank-you for all of their hard work.
