Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs states that there are several tiers one must have or achieve before reaching self-actualization. Students can struggle to learn in school if they do not have these needs met, particularly their safety and physiological needs. This website has been designed to help the Tipton community access resources to help meet these needs. Our Basic Needs section primarily covers the safety and physiological tiers with Community Resources you can access. You can find mental health resources for the remaining tiers in our Mental Health Services tab.
