A: I don't know what they mean by normal, but generally most people without thyroid issues should have a TSH somewhere between 0.5 and 2. I would consider switching doctors if you're not getting the help you need. Some people may do better with a medication like Tirosint, as it may just be absorbed better in their system. Some people may do better with natural desiccated thyroid. Also, if you have low blood pressure, you may want to consider taking a thiamine supplement, as thiamine deficiency is often related to low blood pressure, as is adrenal issues.
