A: It depends on how you feel throughout the day. It depends on what your symptoms are. The blue lights are really helpful for people who have seasonal affective disorder. They feel a bit moody and blue, especially in the winter. People that have a hard time waking up in the morning, that struggle with energy levels throughout the day, will really benefit from a blue light therapy device. Unfortunately, I don't think that the blue lights in the computer screens are enough to produce the antidepressant benefits of the blue light therapy box. That said, they're strong enough to give you insomnia and sleep issues. So, definitely make sure that you cut off the computer work a few hours before you go to bed. Some people utilize blue blocking glasses for that purpose as well.
