A: Generally, we want the resting heart rate to be lower and your HRV to be higher. That's an indication that you're adapting to stress better. Some of the things that can impact this could be the adrenal adaptogens, perhaps they're not the right blend for you. Maybe the licorice or the ginseng might be too much, too stimulating for you. The B vitamins or the carnitine might also be too stimulating for you. So if you're taking the adrenal support, consider suspending it and see if that makes a difference. Potentially, switch it up with one standalone adaptogen, maybe reishi, ashwagandha, or holy basil to see if that makes a difference.
