A: If you are sensitive to nightshades, you can use the Alternate Adrenal Support Supplement Guide in the Portal under the Supplements tab. On page 2, you will find the alternate supplements to utilize instead of the Adrenal Support supplement, which contains Ashwagandha. For other options without ashwagandha, you could try Adren-all, by OrthoMolecular Products. But, that one does have some glandular in it, so that is something to consider, as some people’s symptoms may worsen with glandulars. There is also Adaptogen Complex II, by Complementary Prescriptions.
Sometimes, I just recommend taking standalone adaptogens. I love Holy Basil and Reishi, two potential adaptogens that you can take as a standalone supplement, and then maybe add a vitamin B complex to the mix as well.

As for Dang Shen, it isn't usually one of my go-to adaptogens, as I've gotten comfortable with a few different formulas. Every adaptogen has a bit of a different personality, and they all work to strengthen your body and give you a little bit more vitality.
