A: For iron, you want to space it out from your thyroid meds by at least two hours.
For the B12, depending on what form you're taking, for example, if you're taking B12 drops, like methylcobalamin or adenosyl/hydroxocobalamin from Pure Encapsulations, or the ones from Seeking Health, the drops will be placed under your tongue or in your cheek like a lozenge. With these drops you don't have to worry about spacing them out too much from your thyroid meds. I would say 30 minutes would be more than enough, or you might even be able to take them with your thyroid meds. It would depend on what type of B12 brand you're working with.
If you are taking T3 and are taking the supplements in this program, such as Adrenal Support or Myo-inositol, your requirement for thyroid meds may lessen. So, I encourage everybody to make sure that you are properly tested to make sure that you're not being overmedicated. Myo-inositol specifically can bring back some thyroid function, and the Adrenal Support can do that as well. It can balance out your reverse T3, so that your body starts making its own T3 effectively.
