Q: Would you recommend the GI-MAP test after the ATP?
A: The GI-MAP test is a great thing to consider doing after the ATP, if you haven't met your health goals. We actually have a week where we go through some potential next steps to consider after you do the ATP program. If you haven't done the Root Cause Reset (based on the liver support protocol), that might be something to consider. Doing the Hashimoto's Self-Management Program is also an option. This program is a bit different because we don't have live support during the program, but it might be something to consider doing. The “Hashimoto's Protocol” book has some guidance on how to support your gut, so that’s another option.
One of the things I'm working on with our whole team, is getting a gut program together for everybody, that's going to be in the same format as ATP. The first time we're only going to accept around one hundred people, and they're only going to be graduates of ATP and the Reset. Unfortunately, the first time we’ll also limit it to only people in the US. The second time, we're going to open it up to everybody, outside of the U.S. as well, just because there are a lot of different things we have to look for as far as figuring out what supplements to use and some of the logistics that we're very familiar with in the United States, but not as much internationally. We want to make sure that it's a great experience for everybody.
Focusing on your gut would definitely be great. If you've gone through the program, I would recommend looking at the advanced symptom solutions.
