Q: Is it possible to have thyroid levels in the normal range and feel like your body is going into hibernation mode?
A: I would encourage you to look at your labs. I wrote an article about interpreting your thyroid labs and what is the normal reference range. Most people feel best with a TSH between 0.5 and 2. And I can tell you, when I had a TSH of 4.5, I had cold intolerance, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep under an electric blanket all day. So I would just encourage you to revisit your thyroid hormone levels and some of the symptoms could be due to adrenal issues as well.
