A: With your adrenals in Stage 3, the exercise can actually make it harder for you to lose weight. Whenever we have stressed out adrenals, that makes us hold on to weight, in many cases. Especially, if you stress them more by trying to do activity and exercise, that’s going to cause you to keep on that weight. Your body thinks that there’s a famine happening. I would say to cut back on exercise and only do light walking and yoga. I had a client awhile back who was walking a lot, and she couldn’t lose weight. We ended up testing her adrenals. Sure enough, we found that she was in Stage 3 also. I had her cut down on her walking, and guess what... she lost weight. So, sometimes actually stopping the activity can be helpful.
