A: The ATP follows the Root Cause Paleo Diet, which helps with balancing blood sugar. We recommend eating regularly to avoid blood sugar swings. You want to make sure that you have plenty of food for lunch, plenty of fats and protein, and we’ll be limiting carbohydrates and sugar. It may be helpful to test your blood glucose levels after meals to see what else is going on.

Sometimes feeling drowsy and having sugar cravings can be related to an overgrowth of yeast or mold in our bodies. Saccharomyces boulardii is one of the key components of this program and is actually a beneficial yeast that moves yeast and mold out of our body by binding to them in a way that doesn't cause us any issues. In my experience, people who have cravings find it helpful.
There are other ways to address cravings, and we’ll get deeper into that. Some ideas include L-glutamine, and some people also find chromium to be helpful with that.
