A: With the program specifically, we are focusing on higher fats and proteins and fewer carbs. We do need certain nutrients in our bodies in order to keep our blood sugar balanced and prevent those ups and downs. By providing our body the protein and healthy fats while omitting sugars and things that can spike our blood sugars, we achieve that.
The Meal Plan & Recipes guide has some really great recipes that focus on the right fats, which can help blunt that spike in blood sugar. Even if we are adding a little bit of fruit here and there, we are pairing it with proteins and fats, to prevent blood sugar imbalances from occurring.
