A: It depends on how sensitive you are. Some people are very eager and want to switch to the autoimmune paleo diet right away, start on 30 supplements and go through all the protocols within 3 months. That's one personality type and I would say that's the minority. For the majority of us, it's our own journey and however long it takes, I would say start low and go slow, but go. So, try to do a little something towards your healing every day. If the diet of the adrenal transformation program seems too extreme for you, maybe what you do is you start with adding more protein to your diet. So, add the root cause smoothie to your diet as a starting point, instead of trying to cut out foods. Then you do that for one week and maybe the next week you consider getting off of gluten or getting off of dairy, or adding in another kind of healing food into your routine. Do it at your own pace, but keep taking steps, even if they're baby steps. Some of us might need some support in the motivation department. This is where being part of a program can be helpful, or working with a health coach can also be incredibly helpful for that. Some people find apps can be helpful.
Other things to think about might be working on your dopamine levels to help with rewards. For example, let's say if you follow a diet for a week or two, you buy yourself something nice. That might be something to consider. There are also supplements that can help, including l-tyrosine. I'm not sure if that would be appropriate for you or not, but sometimes some people feel like addressing the rewards and their dopamine first. This might be a good way to get you motivated and stick through a program. I know personally for me, one modality that can be helpful for this is neurofeedback, and that's a very non-invasive procedure. It doesn't require you talking to anybody, or taking any supplements, or changing your diet. It is something you could work on with a practitioner. You go to an office or you rent a unit that is neuro-optimal where you listen to relaxing, healing music that helps your brainwaves to be more balanced, perhaps less anxious, more motivated.
The Adrenal Transformation Program is designed to simplify your healing journey. It’s well-organized and incorporates strategies I’ve found to be incredibly effective for achieving quick results. Many people complete the program in just three to four weeks and experience remarkable transformations. They go from feeling exhausted to full of energy, from anxious and sleepless to calm and well-rested.
I truly want the same for you, and I understand how overwhelming it can feel to start. Overwhelm is a common symptom of Hashimoto’s and adrenal dysfunction, often linked to low neurotransmitter levels, such as dopamine. This program is tailored to help you overcome that initial hurdle and make meaningful progress without feeling burdened.
