A: Many of the recommendations in this program you can use long-term. My general recommendation for people to fully experience healing is to do three months to two years of adrenal protocols. When I look at people's patterns in their adrenal saliva tests or their DUTCH profiles I see what it takes to make healing sustainable. I'm not saying you can't take any of the supplements beyond two years. You can definitely continue taking whatever is working for you, for as long as it's helping you.
Please be sure to check in with your body. For example, if you're getting diarrhea, it might be a sign that you're taking too much magnesium. So, listen to your body.
If you have been in a fight or flight state for a long time, these interventions may help: neurofeedback, EMDR, or perhaps some neural training like the Gupta method, DNRS. Some of my clients and colleagues have found that modalities like this can be very, very helpful to help rebalance the stress response.
I've personally utilized neurofeedback, the neuro optimal unit for myself, to rewire my stress response, as well as EMDR for myself. I feel like those two have been life changing, but there are other modalities too that can really help you rewire your stress response.
