A: In some cases, infections can cause that. In most cases, infections do cause a rise in temperature. So this would be a deeper issue to go into. At this point, I know Lyme is more specific to causing low temperatures. If you look at the Hashimoto’s Self-Management Program, I do go deeper into infections there, and there's a Root Cause Assessment that can help you determine which are the most high risk infections for you, so that you can prioritize which test to do. That said, whatever infection you have, supporting your liver, adrenals, and gut is going to be helpful for supporting your recovery from that infection.
