A: Legumes could be reactive. They could cause your body to be inflamed. They're also higher in sugar and carbs. During the program, we do follow a diet based on the Paleo way of eating, which has been found to be helpful with autoimmune issues. That being said, if you do well with them and miss them too much, potentially having a small amount occasionally during the program would be okay. However, your outcome might not be as ideal as you'd want it to be if you introduce foods that are on the Foods to Avoid list.
Ideally, keeping off of them now and then reintroducing them once the program is done would be the best option. There are also paleo hummus recipes that utilize things like cauliflower. Or even find a different dip like babaganoush; that's made with eggplant. These dips may help satisfy the cravings for now, and there are several recipes online.
