A: Yes. Raw food can be a little bit harder to digest, especially if you haven't been doing that for a while. The gut microbiome is going to shift based on that, and sometimes for some people it can be very difficult. People with inflammatory bowel disease might have a lot of challenges digesting that when their gut is very inflamed and there's a big shift in the microbiome. On the program, everything in the smoothies is well-mixed and pureed, which hopefully will help you with that. There are some enzymes you can take, which are known as the veggie enzymes and can be helpful in digesting some of the raw fiber. I also recommend you cook or steam the vegetables before adding them to the smoothies in order to help break down those fibers if you're eating raw vegetables throughout the day.
Those would be some things to look into. Hopefully, your body will just adjust itself. If not, I would look into some digestive enzymes in the future.
