A: We are refraining from consuming legumes due to their high carb content. Legumes are also commonly reactive foods for many people, so we are doing what we can to keep these potential food sensitivities out of our diets, for the duration of the program.
Ideally, you would want to consider reintroducing these foods back into your diet after you go through more healing (to address underlying liver and gut issues, as well as any other possible triggers at the root of your Hashimoto’s), as your body will be better able to handle these foods once healed.
If you are not planning to continue with further adrenal healing or other healing protocol, then you are welcome to reintroduce these foods after the program. Just be sure that you are not sensitive to them (telltale signs include having GI issues, skin issues, etc. after consuming them).
