A: I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing stomach pain. This could definitely be a sign that you are sensitive to the foods you are eating. If you can, try to stay off these foods for the duration of the program and see how you feel. You may feel so good, and find delicious alternate recipes, that you may not even miss your triggering foods anymore.
I know it's hard to stick to a diet, but if you can keep in mind, for the time being, that it's only for 6 weeks, and remind yourself that we are working on healing the adrenals, after a couple weeks, you may notice a change in gut symptoms and will want to continue your healing journey.
Ideally, staying gluten, dairy and soy free will be best for healing. Once your gut is healed, you may find that you can reintroduce these foods without having symptoms such as stomach pain (though gluten is something that I recommend staying off of indefinitely if you have Hashimoto's).
Specifically for dairy, although it is generally recommended to stay off it indefinitely, I’m working on reversing dairy sensitivity, so be sure to stay on Thyroid Pharmacist's email list for updates.
