When they get this food scarcity feeling, or when they partake in fasting and then load up on carbs without enough protein. I have an issue with fasting, when it's not done correctly. If your current pattern is working for you, then I would continue working with it and perhaps using a continuous glucose monitor to really monitor your insulin.
Going through the program, we do focus on blood sugar balance as well. Myo-inositol and carnitine can be helpful for insulin resistance.
