A: One thing that may help is making one meal for the whole family that is based on the recipes we use during the program and then add a side that the rest of your family loves. For example, you could make the Vegetable Beef Stew with Turnips & Greens and then add a side of rice for the others. That way, the only thing you would make extra is the rice, which would only take 1 pot to make. One more example, you could make the Rosemary Chicken Thighs with Warm Greens and make a side of roasted potatoes for the others, which would go great with the chicken and would only take 1 sheet pan to cook (which you can cover with parchment paper, so the clean-up would be super easy). Alternatively, you could make roasted sweet potatoes, so you could enjoy them as well.
Another thing that can help is planning ahead and meal prep for your own meals on weekends (or whenever you have the time) so that when the time comes to make dinner for your family, you would only make their meal and then assemble yours fairly quickly (or you could freeze yours ahead of time, then just defrost and reheat). Preparing dishes or ingredients in bulk and in advance can really free up time for you. You can check out the Meal Prep Guide, located in the Portal under the Recipes tab.
