This collection of poems by Michael Rosen are autobiographical (they tell us about Michael’s life).

There are several poems about getting into trouble at home and in school.

There are poems about people he has met, places he has been, things he has done and animals.

A few of the poems talk about things that happened to his family before he was born (some of his family had to escape WW2 because they were Jewish).

Some of his poems are also about him as an adult.  There is one sad poem about his son, Eddie, who died.
