When Amanda was older she became the first youth poet laureate of Los Angeles California. Amanda Gorman’s first poem was “For Whom Food is Not Enough.” The poem was about a hungry community and other important topics. Amanda Gorman performed “The Hill We Climb” at Joe Biden’s inauguration. That is why she is so famous today.
