Costs

Listed below are the current costs for Chromebook items at TKA. Please note that costs may change at any time, so please check back here if you need to. These costs are particularly likely to change for the new school year.

Payment for all items is through ParentPay, where a payment item will be posted. Payment will need to be made before the item is supplied. For repairs, there is no charge for labour, provided that the work is performed by our on-site technicians. There may be a cost for labour for any repairs performed by Asus or other third parties, which will be advised at the time.

The cost of devices has risen sharply in recent months due to global shortages of RAM, with major suppliers increasing prices by 15% to 30%. The cost of joining the Chromebook scheme will rise for new pupils arriving after the start of the September 2026 term (and will be updated here accordingly). The cost of replacement Chromebooks has already been updated for all new purchases, including the refresh scheme for pupils in years 9 and 10.
