Sonia Hemnani was born in India. She grew up in Hong Kong. She studied in the United Kingdom and came back to Hong Kong. She took her first trip on a plane when she was just 40 days old, from India to Hong Kong. Mrs. Hemnani studied Applied Business Management at Imperial College, a university in London. After her studies, Mrs. Hemnani went back to Hong Kong to be an educator.
Mrs. Hemnani has taught Prep Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 students. She has been teaching in THS for 5 years. What she likes about being an educator is all the quirky personalities students have in our class, and in our grade.
Mrs. Hemnani’s most recent life-changing accomplishment is that she had a baby. Her talents include singing and cooking. Her favorite songs to sing are a lot of nursery rhymes, because she just had a baby. Her favourite food is pasta!

What is your favorite pet and why?
A hamster or gerbil. They are cute, they fit in your palm, and they're really cuddly.

What's your favourite font on Google?
Happy Monkey. I think it is quite similar to the way I write, it's quite curly and I just love it.
