BLUE RIDGE FIELD TRIPS
For Families who want to attend a Blue Ridge-led Field Trip, you need to read the Ultimate Field Trip Guide. This is an excellent resource for you to see what events are coming up, how to sign up, what it means to be on the waitlist, etc. And you will find step-by-step instructions on how to order (i.e. "add from catalog").
***NEW***The Field Trip Department will also host Field Trip Office Hours for families on the 15th of each month. This will allow the opportunity to ask questions and receive assistance in signing up for Field Trips. Links and Times will be listed on the Ultimate Field Trip Guide, Parent Bulletin, and Weekly Update.
Families and HSTs can attend Field Trip Office Hours - Click Here!
Families that have questions about their September Field Trip Sign ups, please contact fieldtrips@theblueridgeacademy.com
Students should not attend a field trip without confirmation that they are on the attendance list
To access the field trip calendar, please go to the Blue Ridge Bulletin Board and scroll to the bottom until you find Field Trips. You can click on the link associated with the field trip to find more information on how to order.
If you are going to order the tickets in Procurify, please add a new request, and then click on "Add from Catalog" and type Field Trip in the search bar. You can add one student ticket and one chaperone ticket. For different field trips, create a new request. Do NOT combine ticket orders for different field trips.
PARENT-LED FIELD TRIPS
If you are planning educational field trips for your students on your own, you may purchase both a student ticket and a chaperone ticket in one request.
You will need to submit an order in Procurify as a Product order. You should not pay or go on any field trip before the order is processed. NO reimbursements will be processed.
You will need to enter dates and times, as some vendors require reservations, in the comment section or Product description.
Plan ahead of time. The enrichment team needs time to process the order, especially, during the busier times of the year as curriculum and services may be a priority over a field trip.
