Empowering Teacher Coaches/Mentors and Participants with Data

The below resources describe Enseña Chile's Training and Support Teams strategy for using teacher surveys and teacher perception surveys to help support teacher coaches and participants.

  • Slide 6 demonstrates how the team triangulates data from their "PECH Survey" or Teacher Survey and participant Net Promoter Scores to identify where teachers are most motivated and feel most supported. The team then identifies any tendencies among teacher coaches and targets sets of coaches for additional support.
  • Slide 10 demonstrates how the team measures participant experience. They administer the Teacher Survey twice a year. The teacher survey is a mix of quantitative and qualitative questions.
  • Slide 18 finds that participants develop mindsets over the course of the two years, that the sense that all students are able to achieve is heightened by the end of the two year commitment.
