As an international student, you must obtain authorization for Optional Practical Training (OPT) to work as a classroom teacher upon completing the TAP program. Please note that none of the employers TAP partners with sponsor visas. However, OPT allows you to teach under your existing F-1 visa status. By law, you may apply for OPT no earlier than 90 days before your expected degree completion date. 

Requirement from TAP

🚨 To remain eligible for the TAP Summer Training (TST), you must have fully applied for OPT by April 15, 2025.
