2025 Teacher Candidate
Enrolled in the Teacher Accelerator Program, completing a 16-week course comprising over 100 hours of coursework with focus areas including instructional planning, classroom management, learning theory, and literacy.
In June-July 2025, participating in a six-week pre-service teacher training (TAP Summer) which includes: hands-on teaching experience with coaching and over 200 hours of classroom instruction and professional development.
By August 2025, will have further developed proficiency in relationship-building, lesson planning, classroom culture and management, and fundamental teaching practices.

Two-Step Process: M-DCPS vs. FL Dept. of Education
Miami-Dade County Public Schools will require you to go in-person to their downtown office to show proof of your original international degree and the evaluation/translation. Upon review, they will return them to you.
The Florida Dept of Education will require you to send them the full copy of your evaluation/translation (make sure you request a course-by-course evaluation). Once you mail your evaluated documents to them, you will NOT get them back.
