The Canadian Gap Year Association (CanGap) is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to support young people looking to take an intentional step off the conveyor belt of life to explore and experience ‘the real world’ according to their talents, goals and interests.

Discover Year is an innovative one-year life skills program that helps young adults better understand what they want and build the skills they need to go out and get it. Students build stronger self-awareness, confidence, communication skills and resilience through essential skills workshops, work terms, travel, mentorship and coaching, and community service.
