Special Education

Recognizing the needs of exceptional students and designing programs that respond effectively to these needs are important and challenging aspects of our department. Students who are identified as exceptional through IPRC (Identification, Placement, and Review Committee) have the opportunity to take GLE (Learning Strategy) courses. This is a credit course. Students who are not identified but have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) may be placed in the Learning Strategy Course on the recommendation of the Principal.
