Extended French Program

The Extended French Program is a middle area between Core French and French Immersion in French-as-a-Second-Languages programs. The entry point for students is grade 4. By studying various subjects in French, students increase the range of their vocabulary and their ability to use French to express ideas. Upon completion of 7 High School credits in Extended French, students are awarded the Certificate of Bilingual Studies. An Honours Certificate of Bilingual Studies in Extended French is awarded to those who complete more than 7.
