Ellen Murray has kindly offered the lessons they use at Rosedale. Here are her comments: For most lessons there is a Powerpoint and a matching Word document as the first two links for each lesson. The Word document generally has all the powerpoint text completed (for SpecEd and kids absent to download and print) and a version for fill in the blanks that we had used in class.
11 and 12 Biology Units

DNA and Genetics
Felipe Ibarra-Martinez from York Mills has this tip: a great resource for learning about DNA and genetics in grade 11 and 12 biology that may fit the parameters of inquiry learning, while online, is dnaftb.org Each chapter has readings, videos, practice questions, and animations. I particularly like their animations, which show how scientists went about building on each other's contributions to come up with big ideas.
