Hands-on exposure to banking operations across Onboarding (CPMC), Mutual Funds, and Settlements. Learn process accuracy, client data handling, and fundamentals of financial operations.
Company-level prerequisite:
Completion of two business courses prior to start (e.g., Accounting, Personal Finance, Financial Securities are strong assets).

[4 Credit] Client Management Profile Control (CPMC) Co-op Intern — Admin onboarding tasks (welcome packages, mailroom organization, return-mail handling, EFT setup support).
[4 Credit] Mutual Fund Co-op Intern — Support mutual fund operations.
[4 Credit] Settlement & Specialized Activity Co-op Intern — Prepare wire instructions; post cash journals; correct settlement errors; upload manual trades; prepare manual transfers; review reject reports; correct client information; monitor team mailbox; process physical mail.
*NEW* [2 Credit AM or PM Co-op] Transfers In and Out Follow Ups with NB Montreal Team - You will be responsible for the codification of notionals and the initiation of RESP transfer requests. You will initially learn to perform these activities manually to build a foundational understanding of the process before quickly transitioning to our proprietary RESCUE App. As a primary user of this new tool, you will be expected to provide "fresh eyes" feedback, identifying potential workflow improvements and more efficient ways to utilize the application to streamline the transfer process.
*NEW* [2 Credit AM or PM Co-op] Estate Case Co-op Intern with NB Montreal Team -This student role offers a unique opportunity to support the settlement of estate files by analyzing legal documents, such as Wills, and processing investment accounts across multiple lines of business. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a background in law, finance, or administration who can balance technical precision with the empathy required for sensitive situations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, coachable student who takes initiative, asks insightful questions, and demonstrates the sound judgment necessary to support advisors and ensure the accurate processing of financial data.
