Are you a high-achieving business student looking for a competitive edge? We are thrilled to announce a unique Co-op opportunity to work as a Research Assistant with professors from the International Business University (IBU).
Students will gain high-level experience by working on real-world projects and will have the opportunity to collaborate with external employers to apply their findings. This is a premier opportunity to experience different business streams and industries firsthand.
Students will gain Co-op experience in the following specialized areas:
Healthcare Management: Researching industry trends and administrative efficiencies.
Digital Transformation: Exploring how businesses integrate new technologies.
Data Analysis: Analyzing data to gain critical business insights and creating professional reports.
Human Resources: Recruitment process analysis, training effectiveness, and employee retention strategies.
Finance: Ratio analysis and complex financial reporting.
Marketing: Customer onboarding strategies and social media marketing.
In addition to research, students will present their findings and be an active part of the strategic decision-making process, providing real value to their host employers.
What are we looking for? We are seeking motivated business students who are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess strong project management skills.

Business Connect Details- This program involves many different companies across HR, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing. Additionally, placements vary between fully virtual, hybrid, and fully in-person options. We will discuss how to navigate these choices during the session.

Thursday, May 21st at 4 pm - Application ELIS Closure: Elis will be closed at 4 pm
Friday, May 22nd at 4 pm- Student Application Deadline: Final date for students to submit their applications.

Program Overview
The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) offers the Business Connect Central Co-op Program, providing students with experiential learning opportunities in various business sectors, including banking, accounting, finance, marketing, and management/operation. This program enables students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing their skills and understanding of business operations.

Co-op Credits:
The program offers various credit structures, including AM & PM sessions or 4-credit co-op placements, accommodating different student schedules and academic requirements.; Offered in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Application timelines for co-op teachers:
