St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School offers an Enriched Arts Program in Dramatic Arts.
Grade 8 students are invited to apply.
The Enriched Arts Program for Dramatic Arts is designed for students who demonstrate both talent and passion for drama and theatre.
This four year program is designed to guide young people on their journey toward self-expression, ingenuity, and academic inquiry while providing them with both a sense of pride and belonging in an artistic community of learners.
Focus is placed on enhanced curricular and extra-curricular opportunities in the development of technique, composition and performance. Students learn from a focused learning environment, special guest artists, extra-curricular theatre-based excursions and additional school-wide performance opportunities.
Please Note:
Grade 8 students can apply for our Enriched Arts programs directly from grade 8 or after completing the Grade 9 Integrated Arts program at St. Patrick CSS.
The application process consists of a grade 8 teacher referral, an in-person audition and an interview
Successful candidates are selected not only on talent and skills, but on their artistic potential and willingness to learn.
At the end of four years, students who successfully complete the Enriched Arts program will be prepared for a variety of post-secondary destinations and will receive an Arts Certificate.
