Specific Requirements 

1. An Enriched Dance student must have dancing or movement experience, while demonstrating a sound degree of technical dance ability. 

2. An Enriched Dance student must have a keen interest in learning different dance styles. 

3. An Enriched Dance student must be comfortable performing in front of a live audience.

Audition Requirements 

Part 1 - Book Your Audition

1. Register for an in-person audition being held on NOVEMBER 13, 2025 at St. Patrick CSS

2. Auditions are being held between 3:20 PM - 7:00 PM

3. Use the Google Form HERE (coming soon) to register for an audition time. 

4. Audition registration due: NOVEMBER 6, 2025 

Part 2 - Audition

1. Candidates will perform a one minute dance solo displaying a dance style of their choice. This solo should demonstrate the student's dancing ability and, should focus on their area of strength. This solo is to be prepared and practiced in advance. 

2. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. 

3. Students will come prepared with solo music on a personal device (such as a smartphone or laptop). 

Part 3 - Interview

1. During the audition, students will also answer a series of questions that are tailored towards dance program interests as well as previous experience. 

Day of Audition

1. When arriving for the audition, please enter the St. Patrick school building through the front doors (north side of the building, off Felstead Ave).

2. Please arrive in advance of your scheduled audition to sign in. 

3. Student helpers will be on hand for registration and to direct you to a designated waiting area. 

Review of Application Process:

1. Complete SOAR on-line application: SEPTEMBER 26 – OCTOBER 31, 2025

2. BOOK your in-person audition time by NOVEMBER 6, 2025 

3. AUDITIONS will be held on NOVEMBER 13, 2025 at St. Patrick CSS. 

4. OFFERS: Successful candidates will be notified by email NOVEMBER 27, 2025

5. ACCEPTANCE:  Parents accept/decline offers by DECEMBER 2, 2025
