The SHSM–Health and Wellness program at Madonna provides a number of hands-on experiences and opportunities that prepare students to enter a wide variety of careers in health and wellness. Our Health and Wellness students have received a number of certifications at various post secondary institutions such as the University of Toronto and Humber College, Sunnybrook hospital and outdoor educational facilities.
The Non-Profit SHSM program at Madonna works to foster the desire in our students to practice living the Catholic Graduate Expectations by being social justice advocates, eco-centric stewards of the earth, holistic learners, and ethical and fair trade consumers. We have community connection with Links across Borders, Ontario Catholic No Sweat Network, PLAN Canada, and Development and Peace.

Students will have the opportunity to enrol in courses with a focus on business, complete certifications and training related to the business sector, delve into experiential learning through both co-operative education and business sector partnerships, and attend reach ahead visits to post secondary institutions. Upon graduation, students will be well prepared for their post secondary studies and will have a deeper understanding of the business sector and potential career pathways.
