Hao Yu is a second-year Applied Linguistics graduate student. She holds a B.S in psychology from the University of Miami. Her interest includes Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and Corpus Linguitics. Currently, she is interested in exploring how Conversational AI could help improve L2 English learners’ proficiency. 

Career Goals: After graduation from Teachers College, Columbia University, she plans to pursue a doctoral degree in Applied Linguitics with a focus on SLA. She aspires to become a university/college teacher in the long run.
