Self-Introduction: I am a Master's student in Applied Linguistics & TESOL program at Teachers College, Columbia University. I obtained my B.A. from the University of Toronto, majoring in Linguistics and Cognitive Science with a minor in Psychology. 

Research Interest: My academic interest lies in the application of technology to language learning. More specifically, I would like to explore the Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality applied to scenario-based learning where L2 learners could acquire the language in a more immersive way.  

Career Goal: I would like to work in a language-learning technology company, such as Duolingo and Rosetta Stone. After having more experience in second-language teaching and coding, I also aim to build a startup to design a learning tool targeting Chinese students who have a demand for achieving communicative, interactive, and intercultural competencies.
