Lavender Graduation (Lav Grad) is a smaller graduation held slightly before school ends dedicated to those in and close to the LGBTQ+ community here at A&M. The Queer Empowerment Council (QEC) holds this event to celebrate our queer friends for making it through their degree just as much as we hold it for those who may not get the real graduation experience they're hoping for (due to getting dead named/not being out to family).
