Held during Howdy Week, Queer Field Day is a fun, community-building event where you can join us and our affiliated organizations for a day of yard games, friendly competition, and plenty of prizes. It’s a great way to meet new people and celebrate the start of the semester!
The Rainbow Resource Fair is an event that showcases a wide variety of queer and LGBTQ+ organizations both on and around campus. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the resources available, learn more about community support, and get involved in local LGBTQ+ initiatives.
Mini-Draggieland is a creative art series held in October that celebrates queer identity, creativity, and community. Through hands-on workshops and a final showcase, students explore the art and history of drag in an affirming, budget-friendly space that honors LGBTQ+ history and self-expression.
Draggieland is a high-energy drag show hosted by the Queer Empowerment Council on campus, where local drag performers compete for the crown of Draggieland. It’s a night filled with talent, creativity, and fierce performances, unforgettably celebrating queer artistry and culture.
The Coming Out Monologues (TCOM) is an annual storytelling performance featuring current and former students, faculty, staff, and community members who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies. Through personal stories and experiences, participants share the journey of coming out, offering a powerful and emotional look into the diverse realities of the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride Mentors is a mentorship program designed to connect LGBTQ+ students with other members of the community for guidance and support. Whether navigating personal challenges or looking for career advice, this program provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ students to seek mentorship from someone who understands their journey.
Lavender Graduation is a special ceremony honoring the achievements of LGBTQ+ students as they graduate. This event allows queer students to walk the stage with pride, surrounded by a supportive community that celebrates their academic accomplishments and their unique journey at Texas A&M.
