Draggieland is an annual drag competition hosted by the Queer Empowerment Council (QEC), showcasing Bryan-College Station drag performers as they compete for the title of Texas’s next drag superstar. The event, a fusion of “Drag” and “Aggieland,” has been a staple at Texas A&M University since 2020, originally organized by MSC Town Hall. Following the university’s withdrawal of support in 2022, the production transitioned to oSTEM and other organizations before QEC, which became a recognized student organization after the 2023 show, took the lead. Since then, QEC has proudly overseen Draggieland’s continued growth and success.
